A professional
Toastmaster can make all the difference to the smooth running of your
wedding. Just think of all the activities that take place at the
Reception: Your guests arrive. They
need to be greeted and welcome drinks arranged. While this is taking
place, your photographer will need help in gathering everyone for the
various group photographs. A very nice way to
introduce the members of the Top Table to all to the guests is by means of
the Receiving Line. Then we come to the
Wedding Breakfast itself. The timing of this is extremely important. The
banqueting staff will have made sure that everything is ready at the
precise moment for a perfect meal. The job of the Toastmaster is to ensure that everyone else is ready too.

During the Wedding Breakfast there are special functions that take place. The Toastmaster smooths the introduction of all these and lets you relax and enjoy your day. As a Toastmaster I : • seat your guests in time for the meal. • formally introduce the
Top Table to your guests. • say Grace, if you wish. If you would like someone else to take Grace for you I will very happy to introduce the speaker for you. • announce the cutting of
the Wedding Cake, and make sure that everyone who wishes to has the chance
to photograph the occasion. • present the formal speakers for you and handle any special requests that you might have. |
